Hi, I'm Maddalena.
I'm an Italian designer and web developer living in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. I co-founded .beeasy digital factory, an independent studio that designs and builds websites and digital products for international clients.
My background is in communication: I graduated from Roma Tre University in Rome, and that's where I took my first steps with computing, marketing and communication. Today my work sits between design and implementation. I like the moment where a layout has to become something that works in a browser, and the careful checking that makes sure nothing gets lost on the way.

Not aesthetics alone
Whether the work is mine, a colleague's or something an AI tool generated, I look at it against concrete criteria. When something doesn't work, I explain why in terms that can be acted on.
A design can look good and still fail the people using it. Most of my job is noticing the difference.

Where I work
Co-founder · Digital designer & Webflow developer
- Design and development of responsive websites and digital experiences, from interpreting the brief and structuring the information to refining the UI, building it and testing it.
- Reviewing interfaces for hierarchy, spacing, contrast, typography, navigation, accessibility and behaviour across devices.
- Turning stakeholder feedback into specific, testable design improvements.
- Building scalable components, CMS structures and design systems in Figma, Webflow, WordPress/Elementor and Shopify.
